Dhanashree Verma SLAMS trollers amid divorce rumours with Yuzvendra Chahal; says, “My silence is not a sign of weakness”

Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma are currently grabbing headlines after news about trouble in their marriage surfaced. The couple has neither accepted or denied the rumours,. However, looks like Dhanashree has now broke her silence and urges everyone not to spread negativity.

Dhanashree breaks silence on DIVORCE with Yuzvendra

Sharing a post on social media, Dhanashree wrote, “The past few days have been incredibly tough for my family and me. What’s truly upsetting is the baseless writing, devoid of fact-checking, and the character assassination of my reputation by faceless trolls spreading hate (sic).”

Highlighting her career, she added, “I’ve worked hard for years to build my name and integrity. My silence is not a sign of weakness; but of strength. While negativity spreads easily online, it takes courage and compassion to uplift others (sic). I choose to focus on my truth and move forward, holding onto my values. The truth stands tall without the need for justification.”

Amid divorce rumours, Chahal will be appearing during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. Reportedly, he will also be joined by his fellow cricketers, Shreyas Iyer and Shashank Singh.

When did Dhaanashree-Yuzvendra divorce rumours circulated?

Rumours of trouble in their marriage began circulating after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. What further fuelled the speculations was Yuzvendra Chahal deleted all photos featuring Dhanashree Verma from his Instagram handle. Sources close to the duo suggest they have been living apart for several months, with their separation appearing imminent, although the reasons behind it remain undisclosed. A few days ago, Yuzvendra Chahal also shared a cryptic post on Instagram amid rumours of their separation. He posted, “Silence is a profound melody, for those who can hear it above all the noise”—attributed to Socrates.

For those unversed, Dhanashree and Yuzvendra got married in December 2020, in an intimate ceremony held in Gurugram. Their love story started during the pandemic when the cricketer saw Dhanashree’s dance videos and approached her for dancing lessons.
